How I Do (Reset) – 20th Anniversary Re-Recording | Limited Edition Vinyl (Misprint Pressing)

$125.00 USD

This is the first-ever vinyl pressing of the 20th Anniversary re-recording of How I Do, the debut album by Res, originally released on MCA Records in 2001.
Re-recorded in May 2022 in Res’s hometown of Philadelphia, this album was born out of creative resilience after 95% of the original masters were corrupted. Drummer and producer Steve McKie led the sessions at Pine Studios in West Philadelphia, joined by an incredible lineup of musicians: bassist Wayne Moore, guitarist Dai Miyazaki, keyboardists Big Yuki, CJ Branch, and Blackbuttafly, with engineer Hank Byerly. The album was recorded in just seven days.

****Important Note for Collectors:****
This first pressing is a true misprint edition. The track "Sittin' Back" is listed on both the jacket and the vinyl label but was accidentally omitted during the final pressing. Side A includes:
“Golden Boys,” “They-Say Vision,” “700 Mile Situation,” and “Ice King” — each with slightly extended run times.
Only 1,000 copies were pressed before the error was discovered, and no additional pressings with this mistake will be produced.

Each unit includes:
Autographed vinyl, hand-numbered by Res
One of five exclusive 12" x 12" collage art inserts created and signed by Res
Certificate of Authenticity
This misprint makes this batch a unique collector’s item — a one-time pressing that will never be duplicated.
U.S. shipping is included.
